Description

Used to download the specified image from the Mars Space Flight Facility Image Server.

Arguments and Return Values

Arguments: an image ID, instrument, and type

Return Value: the url to the specified image

Usage

Syntax: get_image( image_id [,instrument = STRING][,type = STRING][,src &# BOOL])

Input Parameters:

image_id-the specified image id

instrument =   "ctx","hirise","hrsc","moc"
               "viking","anaglyph","themis","crism" (Default = "themis")

type (if hirise) =  "RGB","RED" (Default = "RED")
type (if themis) =  "BWS","DCS","D875","D964","D642"
                    "PBT","BTR","RDR","ABR" (Default = "RDR")
type (if crism) =   "TRDR-LBL","TRDR-IMG","DDR-LBL","DDR-IMG","MAF"
                    "HYD","PHY","ICE","TRU","IRA","FEM" (Default = "TRDR-LBL")
       NOTE:  The following crism types require a "_RGB", "_HSV", or" _BW" as a suffix
                    "AL-OH","FE-OH","FERRIC","H2O-1","H2O-2","H2O-3","HCP"
                    "HYD-SI","LCP","OLIVINE","PHYLLO","SULFATE","ZEOLITE"

type (if hrsc) =     "DT4", "ND3", "ND4", "SR3" (Default = "ND3")

       NOTE: type is only used for THEMIS/CRISM/hrsc/hirise data
src = return the url of the PDS product
