Description Convert an object to BYTE format. Identical to char.
Arguments and Return Values Arguments: Any three dimensional numeric array Return Value: The array converted into byte (0 - 255)
Usage Syntax: byte(object = VAL) The byte() function copies and converts an object to BYTE format. Any values above or below the maximum representable values of 0, 255 are set to the nearest representable value. This function is equivalent to format(object=VAL, format=BYTE). All values are rounded down.
